For
Penn Manor School Board
I was born and raised in Penn Manor School District. I graduated in 1991. I strongly believe in public education and support Penn Manor Schools. My husband and I have two children, Nolan (class of 2019) and Kaitlyn (class of 2020).My children and I have received an excellent education from Penn Manor. I have served Penn Manor as a volunteer throughout my children's education journey. It would be my honor to continue to serve the Penn Manor School District Community as a member of the School Board.
I began my career as a School Counselor in 2007. I earned my bachelor's in 1995 and my Masters of Education in 2007 from Millersville University. I earned my Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology in 2014. Prior to being a School Counselor, I served the County of Lancaster as a Juvenile Probation Officer and as an Adult Probation and Parole Officer.
Volunteer service is important to me. I served Penn Manor as a parent volunteer through the Marching Band and the Youth Soccer Program. In the Marching band program, I was Band Booster President, Vice-President, banquet co-chair, chair for the Pink-Out Fundraiser, and on truck crew. I volunteered for my daughter's dance team for 10 years: designing, building, and coordinating props. I currently serve as a volunteer for Fulton Theater.
My children and I have received an excellent education from Penn Manor. My son participated in orchestra, band, and the school musical. My daughter participated in chorus, orchestra, band, student council, and National Honor Society. She represented Penn Manor in the United States Senate Scholarship Program. I am proud of my Penn Manor heritage. My parents graduated from Penn Manor. As a Penn Manor student, I participated in many clubs and extra-curricular activities. It would be my honor to continue to serve the Penn Manor School District Community as a member of the School Board. I am here to listen to the needs of our students, families, and community.
